We’re proud that our wines have earned praise from some of the world’s most respected critics. Our Cabernet Sauvignon topped a tasting by Eric Asimov of the New York Times, and Antonio Galloni of Vinous has given our wines multiple ratings of 94 points and higher. Galloni, writing for Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, called Grassi one of his “favorite under-the-radar producers in Napa Valley.”
You can find Grassi wines at great restaurants in Napa and beyond. PRESS restaurant in St. Helena, home of the world’s deepest collection of Napa Valley wines, has poured our Sangiovese by the glass. Bottega in Yountville, TORC in downtown Napa, Michelin three-star SingleThread in Sonoma County, and Il Buco in New York City have also featured Grassi wines.
2021 Estate Riserva Cabernet Sauvignon
"One-hundred percent Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva is deep garnet-purple colored with a gorgeous nose of perfumed black fruit—roses, violets and dark chocolate over cassis, black cherries and crushed blackberries—with hints of cedar box, lavender, wood smoke, pencil lead and tapenade. The palate is full-bodied, rich and densely packed with smoky black fruits and a firm frame of grainy tannins with great freshness, finishing long and layered. Drink date 2025-2040."
2021 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
A classic full-bodied Cabernet-Sauvignon with fine-grained tannins and lush fruit. The primary flavors on the palate are dark red berries with hints of minerality and mountain herbs. Opaque in color with an elegant but robust aroma of brambleberry, spice, and sage. This is a vibrant wine with a balanced tannin and acid structure, providing the components of great aging potential. A distinct representation of vines grown in the foothills of the Vaca Mountain range in eastern Napa Valley. Enjoy now and over the next 15+ years.
2021 Mezzo Mezzo
2021 Mezzo Mezzo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese, Napa Valley, a proprietary blend
The Mezzo Mezzo is a perfect blend showcasing the softness and fruitiness of Sangiovese integrated with the structure and power of Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine provides ample acidity, red and black fruits, and great length on the palate. This harmonization between these two varietals creates a beautiful fruit-forward wine that is accessible now and has some aging potential.
